Lt. LoC: De Samvirkende fagforeninger was established in 1886. In 1898 the name was changed to De Samvirkende fagforbund i Danmark. In 1960 this was changed to Landsorganisationen De samvirkende fagforbund; in 1968 this was changed to Landsorganisationen i Danmark. Im April 2018 wurde die Fusion mit der Dachgewerkschaft FTF beschlossen. Der neue Verband Fagbevægelsens Hovedorganisation (FH, https://fho.dk) entsteht zum 01.01.2019.
