Further information

Etwa 2000 Bücher wissenschaftlicher Literatur des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts, gestiftet von dem ungarischen Exulanten Georgius Michaelis (1640-1725), der ab 1712 als Dekan der Philosophischen Fakultät an der Universität Wittenberg wirkte. Nach der Auflösung der Universität 1817 wurde die gesamte Sammlung nach Halle überführt.
