Herbst 1986 erfolgte die Berufung als Astrophysiker an die Landessternwarte Königstuhl in Heidelberg. 1990 folgte die Habilitation. 1998 wurde Max Camenzind zum außerplanmäßigen Professor für Astrophysik an der Universität Heidelberg ernannt; November 2009 wurde er in den Ruhestand versetzt |
