Hielt ab 1929 Vorlesungen zu Themen der Rassehygiene oder Eugenik an der Universität Breslau. Ab 1933 außerordentlicher Professor der Rassenkunde und Völkerkunde und Direktor des Anthropologischen Instituts und des Ethnologischen Instituts der Universität Breslau. 1945-1946 Leiter des Anthropologischen Instituts der Universität Leipzig. Ab 1946 an der neu gegründeten Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Lehrstuhl für Ethnologie). 1961 erfolgte seine Emeritierung. |
