Das Krankenhaus wurde 1788 im Linzer Prunerstift gegründet. 1867 wurde ein neues Gebäude eingerichtet und als Landesirrenanstalt Niedernhart eröffnet. 1970 wurde das Krankenhaus in Wagner-Jauregg Krankenhaus des Landes Öberösterreich umbenannt. 1994 folgte eine neuerliche Umbenennung in O.Ö. Landes-Nervenklinik Wagner-Jauregg. |
